How to Mine HIGH MOSS Gold Placer
You can mine this claim year round. The amazing water flow provided by Salmon Creek makes all gravity based gold recovery techniques a great choice. Any-size, big or small, your operation will have success finding gold on this claim. Get started panning the banks, and shoveling rich black sands into your sluice or trommel. Keep any eye out for this big nuggs' as well - CA is known for it's gold nuggets!
- Metal detector for pickers along the ravine, high banks from dozer cuts
- Pan for Gold Off the High Banks
There are 20 foot tall high banks that can be found on this claim, and in my opinion I'd start digging there! Go after the black sands and gold bearing gravels in the shallows, then come back in the year when the water level is at it's lowest and mine out those low pressure zones along the banks and corners!
