The total claim area is 20.66 acres and includes multiple claim features including a 2 shallow shafts that are mostly caved in, 500+ tons of gold and silver tailings, piles of various gold and silver ore types and grades. There are two entrances to the underground tunnel system with spans many hundreds of feet into the hillside. Good shoring makes it safe inside the mine to explore, or re-establish working the vein system!
There are also mining relics on the claim, old cans, timbers, remains of the old mill/site and cabin. If you choose to the visit the claim you'll also want to take notice of the multiple cuts that did up to 6 feet deep, looking for additional vein material and strata levels. It's an amazing view of the valley, close to town, fresh water -- with plenty of shade trees and room to work!

There are multiple ways to access the claim. Below is a suggested route if you have a good 4x4 vehicle, and you can drive right up to (or very near) the claim boundaries. From Highly 823, take Pit Rd., till it turns into a dirt road. Follow the unnamed dirt trail as it switchbacks up the hill, up to the mine parameters. Putting the GPS coordinates into your Google Maps will give you the exact location of the center of the claim!
Alternatively you can hike into the claim from any side of the hill directly although some are steeper than others!

How to Mine Taylor Hill Ore
You can mine this claim year round. The area just south of Garderville NV doesn't get much snow-fall. To start mining this claim there 3 methods could be used to start running tonnage, if you want to scale-up beyond hands and pans:
- Start by hand selecting samples that contain gold/silver ore and a heavier than the host material found nearby
- Use a rock crusher or pulverize the ore down to 50 mesh or less
- Table your crushed material or rush it through water-sluice to separate the gold/silver from the gaunge material
- Collect your concentrates and melt down your gold and silver dore' bars!
Pick up ore from the mine, mine fresh ore from along the vein system and bring it home to mill it. If your new to lode mining, you can get a simple rock crusher and a sluice setup for a couple hundred bucks to start pulling gold straight from the ore.

After that date the fee to maintain the claim with the BLM is only $165 per year to keep the claim forever. All recording and filing fees are included in the price of this sale.
