"Where to find GOLD & GEMS in NEVADA" by James Klein, Page 33

Tule Canyon is a shallow canyon that runs from the Lida Range and empties into the extreme northern tip of Death Valley. The canyon has been a relatively quiet, but steadily worked placer gold mining area all along its length. There are legends that mines have been worked by Indians, Spanish and Mexican prospectors long before this land became part of the United States.

During the 1890's an outpost called Senners (or Senner Post Office) was occupied in the upper portion of the canyon. During the first decade of the 20th century, Roosevelt City (or Roosevelts and Roosevelts Well) sprang up and died off just as quickly. The area has been steadily worked by a small population or just a few individuals since. There has seldom been a period of time since 1850 that the region was entirely abandoned.  People have consistently mined and found gold for over 140 years in Tule Canyon.

How to TULE CANYON Gold Placer

There's been quite a bit of successful placer mining activity in Tule Canyon over the years.

       - Dry-washing or hauling in water is going to be your best option!
       - Metal detector for pickers along the ravine, high banks from dozer cuts
       - Water recirculating sluice/trommel system
       - Haul ore to an off-site mill

In my opinion, a dry washer would work wonders for this claim for a number of reasons.  Hauling water is always a pain, and with a gas-powered dry washer you can simply run material without the need of water-heavy sluice units.

There's been thousands of ounces of gold recovered from TULE CANYON and new deposits form in the canyon every year!

You'll run a good amount of material if you fire up your new dry-washer!  New gold deposits form every year with the movement of water and melt off.
