Historical Record

The Rye Patch Dry Wash was a 20-acre unpatented placer claim in Pershing County, Nevada. Located in the famous Rye Patch placer district, known for producing coarse gold nuggets from dry wash deposits.

The first gallery is a Rye Patch claim 1/2 mile up the creek from the end of the road.  Looks to be wet/running most of the year with pools formed at the end of summer.

Second gallery is of a dry wash about 1.5 miles away from the first claim.  The majority of the 20 acres is the alluvial fan and high banks.  Sorry, tractor not included. =D
